The 50th batch missionary training program had commenced last August 7, 2017, at the main campus of 1000 Missionary Movement, Silang, Cavite, Philippines. 76 eager young people from the 6 continents of the world gathered for one sacred and ultimate purpose—advancement of the powerful Gospel. History has marked its pages for this golden batch having representatives from 12 countries from 6 continents of earth’s globe.

“You are the salt of the earth…(Matthew 5:13)” Pastor Shin Dong Hee, 1000 MM Director, strongly emphasized in his message during the ceremony. Then, the key verse continues, “…but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.” Called to be the “salt of the earth”, it entangles with a mission—a responsibility—to show our saltiness, to show how great our Lord is, how great is His love—love unparalleled to nothing.

As their missionary training has started, let your fervent prayers be upon them. Let it also be our prayers that more and more young and valiant people will answer the call to engage in this noble work which concerns the world’s dire need.
