It was July 12 during the midweek prayer meeting that I happen to meet this certain young man.
I was the assigned speaker that time and before the program started, I noticed a young man who entered that church but I don’t recognize him for I haven’t seen him before. After the program ended, I approached him and asked him which church does his membership belongs. He confessed to me that he is not a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church but he wants to attend the Adventist Church services. I then gratefully shared my experiences how God had changed my life from a drug addict to a missionary. I also asked him if he wanted to study the Bible and he answered positively. Our Bible study had gone so far and we are almost done with the doctrinal topics.
When we go through the topic of baptism, I told him, “Jesus was being baptized by water and the spirit. How much more we who are sinners?” The Holy Spirit was working in his heart the moment and he happily decided to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Savior through a baptismal ceremony this coming August 26, 2017.
As we do this sacred work of the Lord, we should never be tired of doing what is good especially in spreading the Good News of salvation and our efforts will not be in vain.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. ~1 Corinthians 15:58
